Skilleos

The project

Skilleos is one of the most comprehensive online learning platforms in the French-speaking market: thousands of courses, from knitting to maths, from the highway code to fine art. After years of accumulated additions the interface had aged and the experience had fragmented. The leadership launched a deep redesign, structural rather than merely cosmetic.

I came in as a front-end developer. In practice: building the new interfaces in Vue.js and TypeScript, and translating the design system produced by the team's designers into components. That is where the work gets interesting — a component has to stay consistent across hundreds of pages without becoming so rigid that it can no longer evolve.

All of it while keeping the platform usable throughout the migration: learners never had to relearn where to click.
